Cultural and Educational Center
The Academy’s new Cultural and Educational Center was inaugurated on September 2023.
The Center offers its visitors a comprehensive look at Hebrew – its unique history, miraculous revival, and ongoing development, and provides a new understanding of the language in contemporary culture using innovative technology and interactive activities. The Center also presents a museum exhibition of historical displays including – among others – original furniture and objects from the house of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, who was honored by UNESCO for his outstanding contribution to education, science, and culture.
The visit can be enriched by a lecture by the Academy’s best lecturers. These professional lectures are adapted to the general public and offer an in-depth look at a variety of topics: the Academy’s work, linguistic issues, surprising aspects of Hebrew revival, and more.
Many groups from a variety of audiences visit and experience the Center: students, families, retirees, teams from different companies and organizations, tourists, new immigrants and more.
